Detective Roberts mentions animal control, which lines up with the people coming to remove the possum, and he refers to the person on the other end of the phone as "Sir", so it's not impossible that he's even talking to Jesse himself, who would be calling on behalf of his aunt (and may potentially suspect a dead body himself at first). The timeline roughly matches up between the two, since this is a few years prior to Breaking Bad, so it's possible that the possum being discussed here is the same one that was living under Jesse's house before his aunt passed away. Jesse mentions his aunt becoming obsessive about the possum, and it sounds like it could be a similar scenario to the one we're hearing in Better Call Saul, especially at the beginning of it. It's in the latter of these where there's potentially a reference to Jesse.
